Research and Strategic Studies Team

The Research and Strategic Studies Team plays a vital role in supporting the National Peace Movement’s decision-making by conducting in-depth research and publishing analytical studies on political, economic, and social issues. Through close coordination with the Council of Elders and specialised tracks, the team monitors local, regional, and international developments, offering strategic insights and evidence-based recommendations to shape the Movement’s policies and long-term vision.

Its responsibilities include preparing reports on emerging challenges, drafting political literature, and contributing research content to the media team. The team also organises workshops and training sessions to build the research and analytical capacity of Movement members, ensuring that strategic thinking is integrated across planning and implementation processes.

The team produces evidence-based analyses to support peace, social cohesion, and inclusive policymaking in Yemen. Combining field insights with strategic research, the team offers clear, actionable recommendations to national and local stakeholders and serves as a reliable knowledge hub for building a more peaceful and equitable future for all Yemenis.
