The National Outreach Team plays a key role in expanding the Movement’s presence and membership across Yemen’s provinces. It acts as the main bridge between grassroots members and the broader structure of the Movement, aiming to strengthen national impact and build trust with key stakeholders at all levels.
The team coordinates and oversees internal activities while building relationships with influential figures, political parties, government bodies, civil society, media, and local communities. It works to develop a wide network of peace supporters across Yemeni cities, engaging them through a dynamic database and consistent communication.
Its responsibilities include organizing workshops, national forums, and training programs to foster dialogue and consensus. The team also facilitates negotiation sessions with political actors to support reconciliation and leads local peace initiatives such as mediation efforts and peace rallies. Through direct dialogue, it helps de-escalate conflicts and build mutual trust.
The team reports regularly to the Executive Council and Board of Trustees on outreach and peace progress and collaborates with national organizations to advance a unified, inclusive strategy for peace and reconciliation.
