The Feminist Peace Track includes all female members of the Movement from across its various components, and may also include representatives of women’s organizations active inside and outside Yemen. Members are selected based on their competence and commitment to women’s rights and issues.
The track promotes the active participation of Yemeni women in achieving the Movement’s goals, particularly in peace and reconciliation efforts. It empowers women to take on leadership roles both within the Movement and in wider peacebuilding processes. The track also provides expert recommendations to support women’s rights during the post-war state-building phase and encourages women to become agents of change and influential leaders in their communities.
In addition, it supports programs and projects that empower women socially, economically, and politically, while working to strengthen coordination between the Movement and civil society organizations concerned with women’s affairs.
