External Relations Team

The External Relations Team is tasked with guiding the Movement’s engagement beyond Yemen’s borders, particularly with international institutions, diplomatic missions, and non-governmental organisations. Its core mission is to build partnerships, strengthen the Movement’s global network, and mobilise international support for peace and reconciliation in Yemen. By raising awareness and fostering cooperation, the team plays a key role in amplifying the Movement’s voice on the world stage.

In carrying out its responsibilities, the team works to cultivate strong ties with foreign governments and regional or international organisations, enhancing both visibility and alignment with the Movement’s objectives. It represents the Movement at conferences focused on politics, human rights, and development, while also monitoring global political trends that may impact its efforts. Additionally, the team forges strategic partnerships with civil society actors abroad, organises workshops and training programmes, and facilitates dialogue with Yemeni political stakeholders—always in coordination with relevant teams and leadership. Regular reporting to the Executive Council ensures transparency and accountability in its external engagement activities.
